A powerful and unusual winter severe weather outbreak occurred in the county on December 15th. The event led to two severe thunderstorm warnings with destructive winds and four tornado warnings that spawned four tornadoes in the county as well as extreme wind downbursts producing violent outflow winds at 100mph.
