Stir Cove Concert Series Information

The 2022 Stir Cove Concert Series is upon us and this year presents a new challenge for Harrah's management, Public Safety, Transportation Infrastructure organizations, and the general motoring public. The I-29 construction project is a major undertaking currently underway that has reduced interstate travel to the use of repurposed municipal roads in place of the normal interstate routing. This project will continue throughout the summer.

Stakeholders from local and state law enforcement, local and state transportation officials, emergency management, fire and rescue, and the private sector have convened to discuss the unique challenges and strategies to provide the best environment to promote the safety of the public and to keep your delay times as minimal as possible.

Whether you are coming in for a show or traveling the area for other business, please check out the latest information on this page to help us, help you.

FOLLOW SIGNS, SIGNALS, & ALL DIRECTIONS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT

  • Overhead messaging boards and portable sign boards along the I-29 route to the Stir will provide you information on what lanes you can move to so you are in the best position to avoid travel difficulties.
  • The above map provides general information on the traffic flow patterns that will be implemented during concert events at the Stir Cove venue on Harrah's property.
  • Law enforcement personnel will be on-site, directing traffic through the area as well as into and exiting the venue.
  • PLEASE SLOW DOWN & HELP US KEEP OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT and TRANSPORTATION PERSONNEL SAFE AS THEY WORK TO HELP MINIMIZE YOUR TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS.
  • Give yourself additional time! Don't wait to head to the show to get there "just in time" - you should EXPECT travel delays getting to, through, and out of the venue during this construction period.
  • Delays cannot be eliminated but there are over a dozen agencies and organizations contributing to the effort of mitigating as many influences as possible to keep delays at a minimum.
