FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

THE FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PROVIDES COST RECOVERY FOR STATE, LOCAL, TRIBAL, & TERRITORIAL (SLTTs) GOVERNMENTS. THIS PAGE WILL OUTLINE CRITICAL INFORMATION & UPDATES FOR SLTT RECOVERY EFFORTS.

FEMA DISASTER PERIOD

THE DISASTER PERIOD IS CURRENTLY: JANUARY 20, 2020 & CONTINUING.

Only costs incurred due to the pandemic during the disaster period are authorized and the activity conducted must be the legal responsibility of the applicant. Once the closing date has been established by FEMA, applicants will have specific deadlines to apply and file projects in order to receive cost recovery assistance under this program. Check back here for those dates and deadlines as they are announced.
